EBlock a débuté avec la vision d’aider les concessionnaires les plus innovants d’aujourd’hui à acheter et vendre des voitures en moins de temps. Jason McClenahan

CEO

As CEO, Jason provides leadership in the implementation and execution of EBlock’s mission and strategic direction. With his vision and experience, Jason leads EBlock’s expansion across North America and the organizations mission in becoming the largest online auction platform from coast to coast. With 20+ years of auction-industry experience, Jason has held various leadership roles as an Operations Manager, Sales Manager, Assistant GM, GM and Regional Sales Director for Northeast USA. A member of the ‘top 40 under 40’ class of 2018, he spent his career working with ADESA Vancouver, ADESA Ottawa and TradeRev USA prior to joining the EBlock team.

Lisa Scott

President of EBlock

Lisa Scott is an award-winning and highly experienced senior executive with more than 25 years of leadership experience in the automotive industry. Lisa is recognized as a highly skilled, knowledgeable, and motivational visionary leader with a proven track record of delivering extraordinary results in all aspects of the automotive business, professional auctioneering, and auction management. Prior to joining E INC, Lisa served for over 4 years as the President of PAR North America, a leading nationwide provider of vehicle transition services. She has also served in a variety of senior leadership roles within ADESA Canada, including Vice President of Sales and Marketing for ADESA, Openlane and Atlantic Operations, culminating in her role as the Chief Client Officer. In addition to her professional experience, Lisa has served on several industry boards, including Chair of the Canadian Committee of the National Auto Auction Association (NAAA) and co-chair of the Canadian chapter of the International Automotive Remarketers Alliance (IARA). She has been recognized with several awards, including Auto Remarketing’s Women in Remarketing award, the International Automotive Remarketing Alliance (IARA) Builders Award, and the Outstanding Contribution to the Canadian Automotive Industry award.

Jai Macker

Chief Product Officer

Jai Macker is a senior product and engineering leader with a passion for building and bringing innovative products to market and 19 years of experience doing so across startups and enterprises in the automotive industry. In his prior role as Senior Vice President of Product and Engineering, Consumer Solutions at Cox Automotive, Jai had responsibility for the two largest and most trusted automotive consumer brands in the US – Autotrader and Kelley Blue Book. In this role, Jai partnered across the enterprise to create a focus on value delivery and develop a true innovation pipeline. This resulted in faster speed to market across the board, including launching the “All-New Autotrader”— a faster, more personalized online shopping experience that delivers true price confidence for consumers, resulting in more engagement, higher quality leads and actual car sales for dealer clients. Prior to Cox Automotive, Jai helped scale Dealer.com from a startup of 12 people to become the leader in automotive digital marketing with over 1000 employees, starting as a developer and then holding leadership roles across Engineering, Product and Business Unit, eventually resulting in the company’s acquisition.

John Rim

CFO

John brings over 25 years of experience as a business executive in varied finance and leadership roles across multiple industries. John’s background includes leadership roles with large, multinational companies such as Brookfield, Philips Electronics, Pricewaterhouse Coopers, BMW Canada and KPMG. He is a proven and results-oriented CFO, experienced in executive leadership for high-growth public and private equity backed companies in the technology sector and is well-regarded as a hands-on, commercially astute, and highly accountable leader operating with the highest standards of integrity and ethics. John brings an extensive range of experience in strategic planning and execution, capital markets, corporate governance, financing, M&A, financial and operational excellence, risk management, and human resources.

Stacey White

SVP Operations, North America

Stacey White is the senior vice president of operations for North America. She oversees inspections, sales resolution, titles, transportation, and ensures our customers get best-in-class service across all of Canada and the United States. She has more than 20 years of experience in the auto remarketing industry. Prior to EBlock, she was the Senior Vice President of Enterprise Optimization at KAR Auction Services, Inc. and has held a variety of positions, including director of process improvement and cost management. White also brings experience in procurement and sourcing strategies, the standardization of operations and processes, along with merger and acquisition logistics. White holds degrees from Canada’s Saint Mary’s University and Compu College School of Business in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Greg Price

VP, Auction Operations

Greg Price is the Vice President of Auction Operations for EBlock where he is guiding sales strategy and operations for the physical auctions and executing EBlock’s Land Meets Tech strategy. Greg has over 30 years of experience in the auto auction and wholesale automotive businesses. Having started his career as an auction ringman in Columbus, OH, he quickly ascended to assistant general manager and then general manager of various Manheim and Adesa auctions in Central Florida. There, he learned how to effectively manage sales, operations and marketing to create cohesive approaches for success. In 2017 Greg realized a lifelong dream when he left Adesa Flint to journey 5 miles down the road and became the owner and operator of FastLane Auto Exchange in Mount Morris, MI. FastLane, in the 5 years before it was acquired by EBlock, became the fastest growing auction in the midwest, more than quadrupling their consignment offerings and doubling the auction space of the original owners.

Michelle Besaw-Parks

Senior Director, Marketing

Michelle Besaw-Parks is Marketing leader with over 15 years of experience, 12 of which have focused on the B2B auto-tech space. As the senior director of marketing at EBlock, Michelle manages a team of multi-disciplinary marketing professionals and designs, implements, and monitors strategies to drive the continued growth and expansion of EBlock across North America. Prior to EBlock, Michelle worked at Dealer.com, where she focused on scaling a robust marketing team and delivering effective and efficient strategies to capitalize on the company’s rapid-growth trajectory. She was heavily involved in informing and executing the brand and marketing initiatives leading up to and following both the Dealertrack and Cox Automotive acquisitions. She is an energetic and forward-thinking marketer who is eager to ask questions and gain insights into all facets of the business and its customers.

Glen Daman

EVP Sales, Canada

Glen Daman is the Executive Vice President of Sales for EBlock in Canada. With over 30 years in retail automotive, Glen brings extensive experience and a long history in the industry – holding various leadership roles that include President of the Crown Automotive Group and President of the Applewood Auto Group. Over the last several years, he has worked as an independent consultant, advising business leaders, athletes, and sales teams. He has a proven track record of building strong teams that deliver best-in-class service. His teams have won numerous in Canada winning Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies multiple times. As Executive Vice President of sales, Glen is focused on building strong business relationships across the dealership network in Canada. Glen’s greatest success is at home. He has been married to his wife Donna for 32 years. They have two grown sons and a daughter in law.

John Lewis

VP Finance

John Lewis joined EBlock in 2022 bringing with him over 20 years of varied financial experience in the physical and digital auto auction industry. John leads the financial operations function for EBlock’s digital and physical auction businesses across North America. He also heads up the EINC financial planning, analysis and external reporting teams. His knowledge and depth of understanding reaches beyond finance as he has spent a great deal of time working intimately with many departments within the physical and digital auctions and is even a certified auctioneer. An energetic CPA, John is fully dedicated to helping EBlock navigate through its continued growth and expansion.

Jamie Harris

VP, People & Culture Business Partners

Jamie Harris is a seasoned Human Resources leader with 24 years of experience building and implementing effective HR strategies and teams, creating culture, leading and coaching senior leaders, and building relationships at all levels within organizations operating in both Canada and the U.S. As VP of the People & Culture Business Partner team at E INC., Jamie is responsible for collaborating with business leaders to understand business goals and develop HR strategies that support organizational objectives, acting as a trusted advisor to business leaders, handling complex employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations, and implementing policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks. Prior to joining EBlock, Jamie served for 7 years as Vice President of Human Resources with Sim Video International Inc. where he built the company’s HR strategy and team in both Canada and the U.S. and was responsible for all talent attraction, management, and development as well as compensation and benefits programs, DE&I strategy, and succession planning. He also spent time both as an employee in an interim Vice President of HR role and as a consultant for a smaller technology company in the entertainment industry leading the development of their HR practice and strategy. In addition to a strategic approach to HR, Jamie places great importance on fostering open communication channels and building strong relationships across all levels of the organization. He is passionate about consistency in people practices, promoting a sense of unity and collaboration among team members and providing a meaningful employment experience at all levels.

Simon Jones

SVP Sales, US

Simon Jones has been EBlock’s Senior Vice President of Sales, US since 2021 and leads the charge in building high-performance leadership teams and creating productive environments through a collaborative, enterprise-level approach. Simon has over 25 years of automotive experience in both the Remarketing and Retail space. He spent 15 years at Enterprise Holdings in the US and Great Britain where he learned fleet strategy, disciplined operations and won multiple awards for his contributions leading the sales teams. Simon has also worked in the high volume and luxury brands market and has a deep foundational understanding of data-driven results.

Shane Hambly

VP, Real Estate

Shane Hambly is an experienced senior executive who’s spent more than 20 years in a variety of leadership roles within the automotive industry. Prior to taking on his current role, Shane was a strategic leader at EDealer, an EINC company, serving as its Vice-President of Sales. In that role, Shane oversaw growth from a small start-up to the premier Canadian dealer website and digital marketing leader it is today. During his tenure at EDealer, Shane was also instrumental in the start-up Carmigo.com a consumer facing automotive marketing portal and the catalyst which evolved and pivoted to become EBlock. A member of the ‘top 40 under 40’ class of 2016; Shane has spoken at conferences across North America and continues to provide valuable strategic insight helping dealers maximize profit and drastically improve efficiency on retail and wholesale operations.

Daniel Leroux

SVP Product & Engineering – Wholesale

Daniel Leroux is a seasoned technology leader with over 30 years of experience in the software industry. As SVP of Product and Engineering at EBlock, he is responsible for leading the development and delivery of the company’s innovative automotive wholesale auction platform and auction management system. Prior to joining EBlock, Dan served as Director Engineering at Shopify, Inc., where he led the development of the company’s shipping and logistics platform for e-commerce customers. He’s also held leadership positions at smaller technology companies as well as at IBM for over 15 years, where he was an IBM Distinguished Engineer. Dan is passionate about all aspects of software and team development but also about making EBlock the most modern software platform in its industry.

Karl Polifka-Rivas

Senior Director, Sales Operations

Karl has 15 years experience in Automotive Tech, with the last 2.5 years as Senior Director of Sales Operations at EBlock. In his current role, Karl supports multiple client-facing teams numbering over 400 team members. His team of Sales Operations All-Stars is interdisciplinary in responsibility, empowering not just sales representatives but collaborating with teams focused on Engineering, Inspections, Sales Resolution, Finance, Transport, and Business Intelligence. Sales Ops oversees the systems and processes which focus sales teams where they are needed most, leads the training and continual refinement of these tools and processes and develops insights which fuel growth and enhance the customer experience. Prior to joining EBlock, Karl held a variety of positions at Dealer.com, including after it was acquired by Cox Automotive. He managed the company’s relationships with Google and Facebook as Director of Media Partnerships. As Director of Revenue Analytics he owned the revenue forecast for the matrixed organization as well the on-going conversation and analysis around how the company was tracking against that forecast. Karl holds an undergraduate degree from Dartmouth and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Daniel Leroux is a seasoned technology leader with over 30 years of experience in the software industry. As SVP of Product and Engineering at EBlock, he is responsible for leading the development and delivery of the company’s innovative automotive wholesale auction platform and auction management system. Prior to joining EBlock, Dan served as Director Engineering at Shopify, Inc., where he led the development of the company’s shipping and logistics platform for e-commerce customers. He’s also held leadership positions at smaller technology companies as well as at IBM for over 15 years, where he was an IBM Distinguished Engineer. Dan is passionate about all aspects of software and team development but also about making EBlock the most modern software platform in its industry.

Karl Polifka-Rivas

Senior Director, Sales Operations

Karl a 15 ans d’expérience dans la technologie automobile, dont les 2,5 dernières années en tant que directeur principal des opérations commerciales chez EBlock. Dans son rôle actuel, Karl prend en charge plusieurs équipes en contact avec les clients comptant plus de 400 membres. Son équipe d’étoiles des opérations commerciales a des responsabilités interdisciplinaires, responsabilisant non seulement les représentants commerciaux, mais collaborant également avec des équipes axées sur l’ingénierie, les inspections, la résolution des ventes, la finance, le transport et la business intelligence. Sales Ops supervise les systèmes et les processus qui concentrent les équipes de vente là où elles sont le plus nécessaires, dirige la formation et le perfectionnement continu de ces outils et processus et développe des informations qui alimentent la croissance et améliorent l’expérience client. Avant de rejoindre EBlock, Karl a occupé divers postes chez Dealer.com, notamment après son acquisition par Cox Automotive. Il a géré les relations de l’entreprise avec Google et Facebook en tant que directeur des partenariats médias. En tant que directeur de l’analyse des revenus, il était responsable des prévisions de revenus pour l’organisation matricielle ainsi que des conversations et analyses en cours sur la manière dont l’entreprise suivait ces prévisions. Karl est titulaire d’un diplôme de premier cycle de Dartmouth et d’un MBA de l’Université de Chicago.
